Kole's eyelids fluttered opened and he flinched as he was blinded by the light streaming into the room. The sun was at the top of the sky. It must be noon, then, he guessed. He stretched his paws out onto the cold, hard floor. And, as he was reaching, he noticed something peculiar. Where were his Two-legs? It wasn't too strange for them to be gone for the entire day but, they would usually leave him with a stranger, not by himself. He got up and stalked over to the bounty of food and water. Then, he scanned the empty room. And, why were the Two-legs so sad? Kole, again, looked over at the meal. So much food.... So much food? SO MUCH FOOD! It hit him! He finally understood why they had packed all of their stuff! Why they were so sad and kissing him. Why they had given him so much food. They were leaving him! But..... why? Why leave him? Did they hate him? Honestly, he never grew a strong bond with his Two-legs but, to be rejected? Then, he remembered. He whipped his head around to see the door opened still. He was so confused. But, he managed to gather his wits and squeeze out of the door. Where would he go? He couldn't just sit in his home, knowing he wasn't wanted there. There was nothing he could think of doing. Then, like a miracle, then heard a familiar mew coming from the next house over. Patch!

Kole liked living in a Two-leg home. There was free food, water and shelter. As long as he got along with the Two-leg kits, he would be able to stay. They would pet him and hug him.
